There's more, bustling cities with sprawling malls; sights from a colonial past in New Delhi, Jaipur's shopping bargains and Agra's fine carvings on marble add to the glamour of these places. But combined and integrated into one, these 'new cities' have always been called Delhi and howsoever many names it may have acquired, Delhi has always been intrinsically identified with power and imperial sway.
